The 32Cpre+ 500 Series preamp and the 32Classic MS Mix Strip both take heavy influence from the original console design.
First introduced in 1981, the MR3 console featured a streamlined 3-band EQ, designed for ease of use and a musical sound that allowed for quick sculpting of sound sources, as a result of this the MR3 was swiftly installed into many recording facilities worldwide.
